This is not the end,
This is not the beginning
Of the end and if this is the end,
Why am I smiling at the end?
I hope this is not the end at all,

Now I'm going back, going back
To the beginning,
You were there,
You stood there,
Watching over me,
As I lay so peacefully in my bed,

My sleep lasted for,
What seemed like an enternity,
My life never flashed in front of me,
Because all I could ever do was dream,

Silence except for your breathing,
Never light, never heavy, but so slightly overpowering
As my fears filled my mind,

This is it,
My life is ending,
As I wait for my death,
I'm in your hands now,
I vegetate lying in my own waste,
Why doesn't God come down and help me now,

Cold, pale yet beautiful skin,
The likes of which you'll never see,
Unless an angel loses her wings,

Life is but a fine thread
We're to hold on to,
But I'm losing grip I'm slipping,
But I'll soon see her again,

This is it,
My life is ending,
As I wait for my death,
I'm in your hands now,
I vegetate lying in my own waste,
Why doesn't God come down and help me now,

It's going,
I'm going,
I'm going away,

My sleep lasted for,
What seemed like an enternity,
My life never flashed in front of me,
Because all I could ever do was dream,

--------

I hope that is not all I am......
