Simple and to the point

On their knees people are praying
Amidst the fighting and the bodies that are laying,

Some wonder if this will ever end
The country resting from the constant fend,

Big brother watching over, but he has his hands tied
Playing a tactical game, not choosing a side,

For the prayers still call out loves name
And for big brother this is all a game.


This maybe Simple and Non-Metaphorical,
But I feel its more Powerful as is.
