Show Me Your Grace

stripped down naked
with nothing but my thoughts
I'm all alone and wasted
standing on the falls
fortune never made
dream into a check
caught beneath the river
currents cast away
hold onto my station
speak out from my heart
clouds won't ever tell you
what air won't give a rest
point into the passion
fix upon the curve
grip the shoulder tightly
to make it fall away

This poem flows so nicely, it would be great spoken out loud - rolling off the tongue.

**Still looking for the
face I had before the
world was made....**

**Work like you don't
need money, love like
you've never been hurt,
and dance like no
one's watching.**

I agree Dancing Barefoot, it's ironic you said that, because as I was reading it I was listening to a live version of Bad, and I could just imagine reading off the lyrics, spoken work--as Bono would read off The First Time or Candle in the Wind sometimes during Zoo TV at the end of Bad

and btw, great title
