"I long for a disaster... Lolita in my arms."

"Ambition bites the nails of success."

"Death has no right to come so quietly."

"...The dew that flies
Suicidal, at one with the drive
Into the red

Eye, the cauldron of morning."

....and many more.

'Yeah Mona Lisa musta had the highway blues
you can tell by the way she smiles...'

(Bob Dylan, Visions of Johanna).

Perhaps not so much 'read' as 'heard', but it will do for today.

Also, again from the same song:

'A ghost of electricity howls in the bones of her face...'

You know some songs sound like ones by Frank Sinatra
But there's no place like... NOO YAWK

"Time will pass and time will heal,
but it will never pass the way I feel"

"So I die, who has the blues,
not I"

"I never thought of this as funny,
you speak another world to me"

(I probably messed up all the original lines, but I'm too lazy to check right now)

a few random favourites from Will...

Howe'er thou art a fiend,
A woman's shape doth shield thee.
-King Lear

Oh thou invisible spirit of wine.
If thou hadst no name to be known by,
Let us call thee devil.
-Othello

False faces must hide what false hearts doth know.
-Macbeth

Our revels now are ended. These our actors,
As I foretold you, were all spirits, and
Are melted into air, into thin air:
And, like the baseless fabric of this vision,
The cloud-capp'd towers, the gorgeous palaces,
The solemn temples, the great globe itself,
Yea, all which it inherit, shall dissolve,
And, like this insubstantial pageant faded,
Leave not a rack behind. We are such stuff
As dreams are made on; and our little life
Is rounded with a sleep.
-The Tempest

That passage overwhelmed me when I first read The Tempest!

Well I dont remember much from books that would be suitable here, so are song lyrics acceptable? I guess they'll have to be, because Im going to post them anyway.

"I give you everything you ever wanted...it wasnt what you wanted"

"In a little while Ill be gone, the moments already passed, ya its gone" and "im not here this isnt happening"

Thats about it for now.
