I was alive
I was me
I was nothing
and everything
and yet I was me

once upon a time in my life

now I go falling with the leaves
my colours have all burned out
the autumn breeze swept me away

the years have withered thin my soul
I place it in the ashes of the sun
burnt out like a fading star

the world doesn't stop
just because you can't keep up

I tried, wasting my life
but I haven't given up, I lied

I'm still crawling thru the years
they tumble upon me now like bricks
they fall all over the light I keep
shadows close in forever
falling out of reach

surrender the sun
offer up your dreams
for one last wish

the years have ravaged on my soul
no plans to leave, but still I go,
falling...

Wanderer, I was gonna stop posting in feedback for a while. I was growing bitter and tired of some of the ignorent crap going on in a couple of forums.
