I'm new here.
I started to write poetry sometime ago but till now I didn't show anybody.

I'd really like to hear your opinions.

There is a tension in the air
I can fell it, nearly touch it
But no one really seems to care

Is it evil, is it strength
Will it come
The big change?

A disaster, humans with their backs
Up against the wall
Nowhere to run
Nowhere to crawl
Captured.

Facing death but willing to fight
Loosing their freedom but never their pride
Willing to accept punishment
For something they?ve never done
A long way to walk
But never to run

Pacifism like a new religion
A movement against a social disease
The weapon of the strong
More powerful than anything
That has ever been seen
Causing loveliness throughout the world
But will it help before darkness falls?

If the sunrise is stained with the blood
Of our brothers again and again
We?ll never break the endless circle

But mankind is better
Than it pretends
Deep inside our hearts
We know how it has to change

But it?s buried so deep inside
Will it ever face the broad daylight
The loved surface it seems
As if it can?t be destroyed

Who is up to check the meaning
Not afraid of the discovery of the truth
Someone out there
To make the final move

Good work.

Some care, some don?t... the change will come, and it will help before darkness falls.

Oh falling down
Engulfed by the deep gorge
separating you from life

Is it all?
Freezing your heart
And you feel so forsaken
Tumbling, looking for something else
Than the nonentity
Surrounding you on your journey

The jewel gleaming like the stars
Before sunrise in a bloodred sky
Cruel but the faith
Threw the evil fight
Dividing, tearing apart

Don?t lead the immortal love into perdition
By showing the harm of mortality

You?re strong, your faithful
And you call your strength by the name
But so aware you know you?re not invincible

Everything you?ve ever been
Laid in your hands
By your unsuspecting father
The imposed burden to carry

Led by the face
Speaking to you
Threw your mind
Forbidding you to surrender

I know it isn't that good like other poems I read here!

But I hope you enjoy it though
