My Song For You

One day maybe
Not so far
I will be
Home for sure
Down on the beach
The sea comes in
The waves are saying
Just be still
Can't keep running
Away from peace
Never letting
You get in
I see my story
In your eyes
And all the anger
That I hide
I'll let you go
I'll let you go
I'll let you go
Out of me

Yeah, you do have to let go sometimes, but it can be hard...

I'm full of words of wisdom tonight

This reminds me of Neil Finn's new album, One Nil. He used to be the lead singer of Crowded House and he is right up there with Bono and Sting as the world's most brilliant songwriters. The album is hard to find, or at least expensive, in North America because it's an import but it's amazing. Somehow this just reminds me of some of the lyrics on it.

------------------
One day we'd reach the great ocean
At the end of a pale afternoon
And we'd lay down our heads just like we were sleeping
And be towed by the drag of the moon

-Sting

You remind me of myself. This is really good!
Peace is definitely the way to go! Anger is a waste of time and energy. You have to let go of the anger. If I have learned anything in my life, it is to find peace of mind.

You wonder what has happened to me"
