Dangerous times
Build with ignorance
A whole country, about to die
Opposite of this world
Hands are crossed
Eyes are shout
Laughing eared in back ground
Nations are blind
Or too many disasters
Bring blindness?
Continents are burning
Familys are getting to sleep
Wake up in Hell, asking why
Presidents are waking up
The world at their feets
Where is the balance
Vital needs, gettind unimportant
While in others city
Money is floating in the air
The world is not shaking
News aren't reported
People living happily
A neighboor hood with no danger
Children are laughing
In other country
Girls are rapped, working overtime
Money is in the mud
The city is shaking
War is about to begin

***What do you think, I've been a little bit inspired about what's going on in the world, Ethiopia...

reply

Excellent work.

Justice in the world.....there isn't any.
Will it ever change....no.
Will war ultimately result......yes.

disgusting.....
I don't like a lot of things about the world
But for a specific....
I don't know
Something about rape is..... wrong.....
Anyhow, I have reflex when things like that appear...

but your poem is very good.
Keep writing

......what you deny for others you demand for yourself,,,,,

"money is in the mud" great line. if this is your first poem you're a natural. if it's just your first on Dream Out Loud, then welcome.

Here a new one...Hope you like it!!!

Hearts are blowing out
Cracking and slipping
Toughness a knew key word
Country living in the dark
In the shadows of bright city
Nervous times are living
Children are hidding underground
Afraid of the world
Who's becoming black and gray
Where were lights
Nothing lefts, it all faded
Peacekeepers are dying
From too many diseases
Hope is gone in the wind
Searching for another place
This is the future world
As cold an gloomy
What's left behind
Need a strong hand
Pull it out of the dark
Show the bright city
Who's still living
Carry on each others
Walk away with nothing left
Others than memorys
Of some cold nights
Walk through the sunny day
Filled up your hearth
Hope, Faith and Love will take their place
Where it should remains
Until tonight and ever
