I dug hole
To bury my dreams
Of a world gone mad
I found a hour glass
And time I wasted
Your eyes burned through my skin
The moon orbited saturn
I found a home
And I wasn't welcome
I found a reason
Reason for living
And she walked away
I turned my back
I felt the knife go in
I asked why
You said you wanted to be a star
I fell to my knees
I felt what it was like to be alone
To feel alone
To die alone
I reach out
You give me the cold shoulder
I stay my corner
With the days marked on the wall
These hours pass
How I confess
I know what it is like to be alone
I know it now
I knew it then
You talk
I mumur
You walk
I crawl
Your light of day
Now there's no light at all

This is so touching, esp "I found a home and I wasn't welcome". Do you play any instruments? These words sound like they'd work as song lyrics as well as a poem.
