this is just some things that have been going through my head that actually have been waking me up in the middle of the night. Not really poetry...I suppose more so in the form of a letter.
Late at night I can feel you next to me
you're body against mine yet I know you're not there
In my dreams I hear your voice, see your face so clear, and i can feel you breathing closely to me.
Smiling in my sleep till something jerks me from my happiness and suddenly I wake up cold and alone in bed, calling out for you and reaching but not grabbing you.
eh...its crap. Just had it in my head these past few days though and thought I'd share.
