Ignorance Is Not A Virtue
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ignorance is not a virtue although you seem to think as much,
Of my ways as I try to help you, you know we're losing touch,
For the love of trivialities and the promises that we break,
Should we not be grateful for life, for all of our sakes?

Sew up the sails that are battered, ripped, broke and torn,
And let the wind carry you, to a beach, a peaceful shore,
Where we are not dragged down by the illusions in which we live,
Where we can be thankful for humanity and our faults we can forgive,

It pains me to say your a poor misguided soul,
But your always full of wisdom that makes no sense at all,
To everyone you label blind and can not yet understand,
Your easy path to enlightenment without thinking your mad,
But you bring it upon yourself, your logic wrapped around,
Columns that are shaken by the tremours in your mind,
Your unsure yourself because you'll never really know,
At the end of this despair will you have anything to show?

Sew up the sails that are battered, ripped, broke and torn,
And let the wind carry you, to a beach, a peaceful shore,
Where we are not dragged down by the illusions in which we live,
Where we can be thankful for humility and our faults we can forgive,

Your own world is crumbling under the pressure of this life,
Your own world collaspes under the weight of all this strife,
Your own world is sacred but leave, set sail now,
Before the time of reckoning you'll love again somehow
