There was a smiling time, a calming time when we would hold hands and walk.
There was a dream then, a scheme then within the way that we'd talk.
But now we're two lovers here who are stuck there in a hard place by a rock.
So I'm singing now, and I'm thinkin' about how I just remembered your name...

A subtle time, a softer time filled with pillow talk and love.
A passionate plight, my display of fright at the message from above.
You must dream again, you must believe again, and reach out to the stars.
But when I came again, you weren't the same again and so flies that peaceful dove...

Spring in bloom
Loves in the room
I just remembered again
Summertime and
Ponderous rhyme
I just remembered again

Walking the beach and the seas within reach and I just remembered again
Step into the brine and lose track of time and I just remembered again
I'm down in the wave towards my watery grave and I just remembered again
Missing you now I remember how you'd say I just remembered again...

I really, really love this stanza...actually the whole thing. Beautiful language, the repitition works so well. Are you a lyricist Bikerfish? you should be, seriously; your poetry is made to be sung, in fact it's song by itself
