i cant see through this
perspective is the key
i lost it with the car

i cant speak any of the words i say
without my conscience getting in the way
i cant but i seem to anyway

i cant turn your face to mine
and connect your dots with mine
now its time to walk away
i cant see us combined

i cant stand to watch the hands of time
always on the button
theyre never late for nuttin
i cant be a clock

i cant be the bird in the air
the one that would land in your hair
and scratch you until you asked me to stop
i cant be a bird

i cant swing on a stool with one leg
it just didn't work, what with three legs missing
you saw me try, and i fell
i cant be convincing

i cant be the one thing you wanted
the one whom you dreamt of
i dont mean much to you or me
i cant be the one you need

:(

your writing is really different and unmistakable, which makes it awesome, I love it. the poem itself is...I dont know how else to say it but painful. the second to last line is incredibly self-depreciating, it hurts

I really like this... it's very expressive, and although I don't think I've been in a situation like that, I can imagine very clearly through this, and it hurts....
