Give me strength.

I want to dance with eternity and rest in her waves
Give me strength to stand with my brother who thirsts in our greed

I want to offer a beggar a song I have dreamed
Give me strength to throw down my alters of twin arched gold

I want to touch the hole in my savior's right hand
Give me strength to pray never ceasing with my head and my feet

I want to paint a rainbow on a monochrome screen
Give me strength to unlock the rusted gates of injustice

"altars of twin arched gold", hehe, nice one, popsadie.

"rest in her waves" is a curious line when it's a reference to eternity. waves=time, whereas I'm not sure if eternity involves time at all, but that's just me.

As always, you've crafted a good poem there.

beautifully written popsadie, very pure. I just went to a church service that meant nothing to me for whatever reason; just one of those sermons that went on forever and held nothing for me anyway...

and then I come here and read this, this speaks volumes more for me.
