and his empty stare
stabbing like a flagpole pear

girl and boy
touched and torn
bursting the mysteries
of love & lore

an angel w/ a torch
wings to mush,
and the candlewax kiss

a sweet perfume
on empty lips
and the vivid
aftershock bliss

where the oceans meet
and swim to the sun
the tides + the tears...
of a liquid bullet gun

my friend
thoughts and words,
spinning from my head
to a blanket page,
cover me with your eyes
