France, precisely Dijon for mustard lovers
I see nothing but faces and ceilings
Sweet smiles and soft grinning
And I’m lying in an embrace
Who wants to be in my place?

My parents, they would go on talking
Babbling like monkeys,
They call me all kinds of pet names
I’m glad I can’t figure how lame.

They understand how complicated
My major task of slumbering is
But they always try to lull me
When I want to shake myself free.

My mom tastes sweeter than honey
She’s always taking care of me
I feel we have a special bond,
I can say that of her I’m fond.

My dad is kind of weird and funny,
He talks about kisses and money,
He’s trying too hard, for too long,
Out of this he’d make a song.

I see nothing but faces and ceilings
And I begin to have this feeling
That soon I’ll hold my head up high
And I’ll see nothing but knees and thighs...
