He watches her ghost walking on the sea
Crying out I?ll bring you home to me
A empty garden and it?s no ones fault
Wine is happiness of love that?s lost
Dream and memories of what it cost
A thousand yesterdays take her place

And filled her pockets full of clay
In a single moment lifetimes fade away

Where sand swept castles crumble
A kindred light had finally found a home
But on this dust filled dream at night
Feel the scourge of a different fight

Wind carries hope like a broken drum
From the footsteps of Eden
To the deepness of a lonely mile
Where sorrow is no protection
And anger rages past the sea
A forsaken dream
