dreamlike state

its like im half awake
yet im dreaming
i can feel your fingers
tracing my lips
do you think of me
as much as i think of you?
to dream of something
so unrealistic, unreachable
you can tell when im not smiling
when i'm not "all there"
sometimes i think
our souls are connected
in more ways than one
i dreamt that we were together
felt your lips touch mine
it feels so real it scares me
the best dreams
are when i can feel your arms
holding me tight
i love that dreamlike state
