Days are forgotten like memories stricken from existence
Yet, in my mind, will live on forever, the day, the moment,
That first I tasted your breath, inhaled deep your essence,
Felt the flame of your kiss against my lips
That night, there spoke into our souls a destiny revealed to us only
As the moments unraveled themselves in their own time
Not a moment rushed or late, but perfectly as they so desired,
Embraced by us completely within each other’s hearts

The cold air upon my neck, not wanting to say goodbye
The fire burning in your eyes, threatening me not to leave
I still remember…
The seduction of deep red wine on our tongues,
The words written upon our minds dripped upon our lips,
The pen speaking our dreams upon thirsty paper:
The sound of the burning fire…

Remember…
Remember we touched the door of loves endless fall,
Then let it go, as we opened our eyes too soon,
Looking behind us at the worlds view of us,
Not allowing ourselves to just… fall and
Leave everything behind, to embrace a love
Few seldom ever catch a glimpse of
We let it go…

Does summer carry with her yesterday’s sun?
Does she remember the love that warmed her,
The heart completely lost for her,
Does the sun remember the smell of heaven’s white rose?
She is all that consumes my mind…
All that causes my heart to laugh, to cry, … to bleed
I could never forget…
Tomorrow…
Tomorrow, we will still remember, we will wait
The sun will rise and fall,
My heart will still be full of sorrow,
And I will wonder if ever I will look into your eyes,
And in your eyes, again see us standing at the door, ready this time to fall

It is my also my heart.
She cannot forget the love that warmed her, she cannot but be consumed.
Hope for tommorrow, to glimpse again, to embrace that love and fall into it, that which was such perfect moment, is what sustains her through the sorrow.
