Beg the guards to release their prisoners- the world is ending today

Appeal to the politicians to teach the children the truth - because everything is going to change today

Negotiate with the lawyers an end to the trials- starting today there will be no more laws

Designate the rest of eternity to be a time of freedom for all people- calendars will not matter today

For today is the last day of earth.

When its all over
When our days are through
Would you like all this to be a reflection on you?
When the universe looks at our ways
Do you want them to know the days
You sat in an empty, apathetic haze?

Come and sing
Laugh and be free
I know when its over
They'll all laugh at me

I try and I try and I try again
I wander and wonder about you, friend

When they're checkin' our I.D.'s
Looking up credentials
Will they see your life
as merely incidental?

Let's change the world
Let's move the earth
Don't get cold
Value your worth

Come on, come on, we're all one
Come on, come on, you're the one

I was just reading your words... and thinking about how less than 50% of the population is expected to vote in the U.S. Election today... and only about one-third of people age 18-24

how long must we sing this song?

the worst part is that people in other countries die for this right, while most americans would rather pick up a tabloid than a voter pamphlet....
