[Convoy]

This is just a little ditty I wrote and wanted to get some feedback on it.


"caste in concrete"

Devoid of sensation
in a chasm flooded in blue
Skin caste in concrete
expressionless, I am a statue

Detached and distant
raped from your subtle stroke
I wallow in my sorrows
drowning in isolation I soak

Longing for a touch
flesh abandoned till atrophied
Frostbite, numb in tundra
blanketed in hailstones and flurries

Reach out for your fingertips
to bask in the glow of your grasp
Jaded, but not hopeless
I simply wish for your clasp
