Burn the maps,
We'll follow the stars,
We'll ponder their mysteries for hours upon hours,
And If I arrive too soon or too late,
I'll never leave you, resigned to your fate,
I'll sail so far, yet close to my home,
Whichs resides in my heart,
Even as I roam,
Insearch of the living at the expense of the dead,
The ideals I hold dear will one day be read,
In the book I will write to explain that my cause,
Was worthy of her and all that she was,

So sing your praises,
Let that verse ring out,
Raise the living,
Calm the dead,
So sing your hymns,
Let them be known,
To the ears of the masses,
As they make their way home,
From a distant concept,
A faraway land,

A storm builds up, I'm caught in the eye,
It's staring at me as if it would say,
Turn back and leave, you can't go on,
But I rejected that statement and continued my plan,
To get back to her, to feel her silken hair,
To just be close, nothing more would I dare,
Do to her to taint her pure soul,
And all that is her will be mine evermore,
I'm selfish in that way, I want to keep her my own,
But I'll appease the others, why do they condone?
Plans of action I don't under stand,
Raising the living and calming the dead,

Thank you both, it depends somedays I write tremendous amounts, it gets annoying when you've too much coming into your mind at once, I try to write everything down regardless of quality, you need to get them out of your system or you'll regret having that moment pass, again thank you both for reading my work
