Hola, it's me again

I wrote this while I had PLEASE on!


Blindness

You got to walk straight
You truly have to live your life
The best way you can

You got to be sharp and wise
Faster than the others
To be the first to reach the goal

You got to be proud and believe
Only in yourself
Walk pass others

You got to have big ideas
And follow them whenever
The journey where it will take you

Alone walking straight, almost blind
Only looking at yourself
At your pain and at your desires

You’ll become then numb
One only soul
Anger slowly building up
Looking around, there are people like you
As sad and alone as you are
Only focused on themselves

But you got to face it
Open up your ribcage
To express yourself
To live finally, no more numb
And the answers will be yours
With your mind figure them out

This wasn’t only for you
This was for everyone
Blind and numb in this world

We’ve to help them out
Shake them, awake them
And show them life

This world that we’re living in
Is often sad and dangerous
But it’s not the only thing
There’s people waiting for us
Waiting to live finally

Get out of your blindness
Come with us, we’re going faraway
To unbelievable places
Places that we call life

A very fine writing. And your other two posts are very good as well.

Forgive me, but I am trying to understand why some posts at DOL get ignored while others seem to hit a high note.

Maybe with me....it has to do with wisdom and respect.
