melt for a second

when the shadows stretch

She turns to talk to someone else
And you stand there thinking
I can?t be
Forgotten?

How much I wanted to grab her arm
To pull her away and say come on and hang
But she says gotta go
And then I?m alone

She walked off without me
And with someone else
The shadows slip between my feet
with me standing there and watching them go

I can?t believe how much I spent for her
She was my friend
I am with people
but I don?t have her anymore
because she walked away

So who?s the loser?
