Th' other day I had lunch with
a very important person
We talked and laughed, I figured that
I'd made quite an impression
In my car, after that
I checked myself in the mirror
Then I knew what was so funny
a slab o' cheese on my ear!

My sis was gonna meet this guy
she had not seen in years
Mom wanted her to bring him in
to introduce her peer
She asked, "Why, Mom? There is no need"
Mom said, "Ohhh to be nice
...And if you went missing we could
describe him to the police"

The guy at the next table was
showing off to ev'ryone
His brand new acquisition
An Ericsson handphone
He spoke very loudly so that
We'd hear everything
When suddenly in mid-speech
The phone began to ring
*chuckle*
Ain't it fun, we are the ones
Who live through anecdotes
Those who can't see any humour
Think Life is one big joke
As for us, our eyes acquire
A cheery lasting sparkle
So raise the glass and make a toast
To Life and all its chuckles!
