Again, any and all feedback is welcome. This one is being written with a melody in mind. Nothing specific. Just a vague something. anyway, here are the words.

Drama Queen

I am just a Drama Queen
I want you all to look at me
I am just your Drama Queen
I hope you can forgive me

Smilin' as the day goes by
The Drama Queen forgets to try
For her it's all just angst and show
As the Drama Queen falls well below

It's time and time again
The Drama Queen won't let me in
Drama has always been my sin
Please let me be forgiven

I am just a Drama Queen
I want you all to look at me
I am just your Drama Queen
Don't take your eyes off me

Well, that's it. Rather simplistic, I know. but I think it tells a story. I don't know. Anyone have any thoughts?

I think you touched on something very true here, it made me think of the way sometimes life becomes practically fake for people as they strive for attention from others. good poem!
