Just so there isn't any confusion, and I would have waited longer to let the cat out of the bag, so to say.......
But this "poem", this song here..... it's a mockery, it's satire, it's ridicule. These words are all lies. It is about someone lieing about how they feel, which, believe it or not, is something I dispise. I was going to write more works to go along with it - like how some of U2's songs only make sense when they are in the context of other songs..... but that didn't pan out just yet. Maybe it will in the future.
However, a lot of this peice of writing I could not manage - because this song is mostly about everything but the words that the other person is speaking. Perhaps, in my next writing in this series, I will elaborate on such a thing............
However, as one may notice, there is another thread of mine that I made oh so recently. Gods honest truth they are unrelated to each other - let me tell you that if they were, it would make my life a lot easier, choices a lot easier.
I just didnt want anyone to get any ideas.

The underscores are there, in my mind, to cut to the truth;
"for now"
It's not "I only have eyes for you now"
It's "only for now"
The underscores, directly, cut out the words "eyes" and "you", leaving "for now".
That is why.
In this story, the person speaking is a liar. They are saing appealing words just to comfort the other person, to set them at ease. Yet they are all lies. Telling just what the other person wants to hear. It's actually quite a disgusting thing to me.
