zoology tell me whats so funny

i dont get it, i say i wanna study and work with exotic animals and ppl think its funny and crazy, can someone explain why they do this

My dad studied Zoology at college. I think it is so cool, and it's thx to my dad's love of animals, I love them too! People will make fun of anything. I think it's cool and you should go for it!
