yea, so far nothing witty has come to mind, I definitely don't want to cuss him out, [first, I dont normally curse at all and I don't want to sink to his level]

in response to Dr. K's remark "feel free to stop by whenever you wish" perhaps you could reply simply with "I won't be seeing you for some time, as my wish is to move forward and not look back" or something to that effect.

That's my suggestion anyway.
