I just wanted to say thank you so much to everyone. My grandma had the most beautiful funeral. We had about 70 people! The priest gave a lovely eulogy and people sent the nicest flowers. We had pictures of her throughout the years with her family, and also just clowning around (she had a great sense of humor). It was really touching, and it made me feel so much better about the whole thing. My grandpa said, "I'm just so grateful for the 56 years we had together."

I am so sorry to hear that. :( My gran and my sister have it too so, to an extent, I understand how tough it is. Remember if you need to talk we're here. Look after yourself sweetie.

im so sorry about your grandma... i remember the time i lost my grandmum and we were always so close.. there's this song by robbie williams that always reminds me of my own, maybe you'll like it too.

You said when you'd die that you'd walk with me every day
And I'd start to cry and say please don't talk that way
With the blink of an eye the Lord came and asked you to meet
You went to a better place but He stole you away from me
And now she lives in heaven
But I know they let her out
To take care of me
There's a strange kind of light
Caressing me tonight
Pray silence my fear she is near
Bringing heaven down here
I miss your love I miss your touch
But I'm feeling you every day
And I can almost hear you say
'You've come a long way baby'
And now you live in heaven
But I know they let you out
To take care of me
There's a strange kind of light
In my bedroom tonight
Pray silence my fear she is near
Bring your heaven down here
You taught me kings and queens
While stroking my hair
In my darkest hour I know you are there
Kneeling down beside me
Whispering my prayer
Yes there's a strange kind of light
Caressing me tonight
Pray silence my fear
She is near
Bringing heaven down here
The next time that we meet
I will bow at her feet
And say wasn't life sweet
Then we'll prepare
To take heaven down there

Just though I'd check up on you. I hope that you are doing better now, as a few weeks have passed.

I hope that you find joy and encouragement in the special people in your life.

Thought and prayers for you,

The Chedge

It's an awful thing to go through, but knowing that she had the best possible passing, and that so many people's lives were touched by her really helped me come to terms with it.

I have been doing better, but I could not have without the love and support of people in my life... including those of you here! I thank you all humbly, from the bottom of my heart.
