of beer bottles and obsession

I kept a Unibroue beer bottle and i have it displayed in my room because it says U2 in large black and gold letters on the front

actually it was good beer but i think this is the warning sign that my obsession is a little too out of hand

i got it up in Canada lol

they have a lighter beer that's just called U and then they have a darker one that's called U2.
it's not really related i just needed it for the bottle

) i started collecting them. On one point i had more than 1300 beerbottles. I never heart of U2 beer.

In Canada? Wow. I live in Canada. I don't recall ever seeing that beer. Then again, I probably didn't look. (Though I would do a double take if I saw "U2" on a beer bottle!) I hate beer.

ok, so maybe it's an imaginary beer bottle in my room! no seriously, i promise it exists, i got it at a little grocery in Quebec City..you live anywhere near there?
and as I said, it is actually rather good considering I really don't like most beers. maybe even you would like it!

I did go there once though. Really neat city. You know the Chateau Frontenac? I live in Victoria and the Empress Hotel is by the same architect and looks quite similar. I must go back and get a bottle that says U2 on it

Call me dumb, but I do not get brettig's joke. This must be because I missed something in chat (where I don't venture) or in another thread, or equally possible, because I'm dense.

yeah, Chateau Frontenac is beautiful, especially at night when it's all lit up
