i don't think you need any kind of passport to go to canada

well, no. But you need either a passport or birth certificate. A driver's Lic. is not enough.

My passport picture is terrible. It's expired, thank god, but terrible.

The problem is, like my dirver's liscence, I had it taken when I was aroun 15-16 years old. Obviously I've changed since then, but you try explaining that to bouncers when they look at your I.D.

Bouncer: Um, this doesn't look like you.
Me: WHat do you mean?
Bouncer: I mean, this doesn't look like you. I'm sorry. We can't let you in.
Me: What the hell? That's me. I swear. I was just 16 when I took it and I look different now. It's me. Really. Look, see, same smile.
Bouncer: Why does your height say 150 cm? You're not that short...
Me: Um...I didn't know how to convert to metric...so I guessed?
Bouncer: Okay, recite your license #
Me: Okay, honestly. HWo knows their diver's license # off by heart anyway?
Bouncer: Alright, postal code...
Me: ..... .... ... .. .. ..
Bouncer: *sigh* Go inside

The reason for a birth certificate / passport for Canada is because they prove your citizenship. Driver's licenses are given to non-citizens, so, if there are problems, a driver's license won't help you.

I have 2 passports- my hair is a diff colour and now when I go out i usually wear glasses and I look about 12 in the photos

I have my Irish one until I am 25 and The British one until I am 27
