He has wasted 15 minutes of my life that I could have spent doing something more productive i.e. picking my nose, counting the holes in the ceiling tiles, cleaning my desk, biting my nails...I think you get the point.

I am saddened at the thought that you might actually post something of merit and that because of your current transgressions I will never see them.

my poems were about : social repression in middle eastern countries, the fear of homosexuality, subversive lust that lies at the bottom of some men's hearts and the using of prostitution that has damaging effects on the people involved

i want you to tell me what YOUR idealism is?

where are your loyalties?
what do you think about slavery in the middle east?
have you ever had subversive thoughts about your neighbor?
do you feel compassion for the mentally ill people in the u.s?
do you feel that our public adoration of people like mystical and mike tyson is damaging to our youth?
do you thing george w. bush is going to make a lot of money in this 'war' with palestine?
can you tell me why in this day and age people like matthew shepard are still being killed? fear? anger?



i am not NOT shallow........in any sense of the word

if you open your eyes,................there's more to me than the surface of my words.

I like u2rgods' poetry. It is creative. It reflects a civic-conscious mind. I've never read any poetry like that before. You are baffled because he didn't put up a sign saying "this is poetry!". And you are offended because he didn't make himself known to you more before he began expressing himself freely in this forum. In other words, if any one us old timers did the same thing, we wouldn't have gotten the same complaints, imho.

The only wrong thing you did was post "rubbish" threads (the "i like roast beef" sort). Familiarize yourself with the various tones and moods of the various boards (DOL is more sombre/respectful than the rest, It's Official is playful, et cetera). Otherwise you run the risk of being labelled a troll.
