I think it's because it's Doublemint and I haven't had that since I was a kid....

I put the gum away and stopped eating it

It was just a wierd thing...I didn't even notice I was doing it at first....then I'm like "eeeewww what the hell am I doing?!?!?!?!?!?!?"
