i screwed the dentist over

one day i was on my way to the dentist when the phone rang.

it was the dentists receptionist.

she told me how they had lost power there and they didnt know when it would be back.
they couldnt see me.

my day was ruined. well not really but there was definitely an hour period where i could have scheduled something really exciting.

i was unimpressed.

last week when i had my rescheduled appointment i didnt go. i sat at home watching them call and leave messages.

ill call them back when im ready. if they ask me to pay i will give them the 'delicate genius' speech of george costanza fame.

why wouldnt they have a backup power supply? are there any dentists out there?

During the last "Energy Crisis" in California... (back when everyone hated us and thought we deserved it lol) There were peole right in the middle of root canals when the power went out. We sent a reporter to some offices and the dentists basically said the only thing they really could do was give em novacane or maybe a temp filling while working with flashlights. Kobe, would ya really want to experience that? just be thankful for the receptionist calling ya
