I had that problem... my fiance is Australian. We had to live apart for nearly 2 years because of university. But we moved in together after that - we've been together 4 years now. Hang in there - if it's right, then it's worth it!

I once went a year without seeing my fiance. :crack:

He's my ex now, but at the time, it sucked royally.

I think it was a combination...but more of the latter. It was hard to face though, because I'd known him since I was 15...and we broke up not long before I turned 22. So, for close to 7 years, he was a huge part of my life. It's hard to come to the conclusion and accept that it's not meant to be. But...I've moved on...but have kept memories...and I'm sure he has too.
