just before is ok.... but after it rains... it smells like worm... and that is not a pleasent smell.....

I love the smell of suntan lotion too Fritzy! the only time I like chlorine though is when ive been off of swimming for about a month and Im almost starting to miss it

hey frizzer! Those smells are great. You prolly wont know what I'm talking about but the smell of chlorine and sun tan lotion reminds me of Toobs, diving sticks, the American man that used to run my local swimming pool with his regular announcements over the PA "NO BOMBING", 20c bags of mixed lollies, smelly wet towels stinking of chlorine, walking on boiling hot concrete back to the car to find the heat out of it is almost solid, cicadas, peeling nose, fans that only blow hot air around, watching test cricket, traipsing through a track we made as a shortcut to said local swimming pool, dodging spiderwebs hoping there were no red backs, yabbying!!!, stinky wet dog smell, christmas beetles...Ah to be a kid growing up in the Aussie bush...why did I have to grow up? Those days were incredible. The Toobs are very important. Maybe manda will know what I'm talking about.


I love smells that remind me of things. Summer. I adore summer. I adore the smells of summer even more.

One time, I was puttin' gasoline in my Razz (dude, I was 15, I couldn't drive a car yet!), and I spilled some on myself, but I was gonna be late for school, and I liked the smell anyway, so I just left. Then, in science class, these guys that didn't like me chased me with lighters. It sucked.

Apparently, I was not well-liked in high school.
