i have a rather depressing crush.

Hey.

I've got this crush on a girl I met a few days ago. Although I use "met" in the loosest possible sense. I've barely exchanged a sentence with this girl, but I can't seem to get her out of my head. It's really getting me down. I know her through a friend of a friend so it's not like I can readily go up to her and talk to her. Plus it's the end of the university year and everyones going home to the summer.

Can anyone relate to this?

Has anyone got any words of advice?

How do I get her out of my head and cheer up?

Tell her with a letter, cut off all contact with friends or hers and pretty much everybody else and spend a year distracting yourself with work and solitary study so you can return in 2008, after 8 months you can get to smart and sarcastic; I imagine bitter and numb happens later; or you could do something crazy like tell her outright.
