I don't speak for all guys, but as a guy, I don't think there is really a way to improve the female "lower back region." Ink don't make it special, it already is.

I can sort of understand the "base of the spine" tat. When men are looking at women from the front, they notice the face and the breasts, not always in that order. Now, you get a man walking behind a woman, the man has one option: the ass. I know that a lot of women spend a lot of time on their hair, and picking out what shoes to wear, but the male doesn't really care. Now, add the end of the spine art work, now there are two options.

However, I would like a gay man's perspective on women's end of the spine tat. I don't think like a woman or a gay man, so what is the gay male view on this subject?

Can't say I'm gay, to the dissapointment of some it seems.......

but I do notice women's hair, and shoes, and other things. I notice as much as I can.

I notice if they do their hair/makeup too much, if they are wearing shoelaces that stand out ( *ahem* ), what they are showing, what they aren't, moves, things, this that, attidute, posture.

I don't think I neccesarily understand them yet in regards to what everything means, especially because every woman is so _______ (I'll say special, because I'm in a good mood) and they are all unique in that regard.

For me, from the front, it's face and then chest.

However, instantaneously upon seeing someone it's her frame; the whole body shape in general, and how compatible it is with my own, and how appealing it is to me in general.

Well, to be honest, my tat there has a specific purpose for being there...other than to get guys to look, I mean.

I have a Buddhist symbol tattooed there....the base of the spine in alot of Hindu/and some Buddhist tracks consider the base of the spine to be a power source of sort for energy....so blah blah blah, there you go. So sorry to dissapoint, girls do have other reasons for getting a tattoo there. Most of the time it's because it's a somewhat discreet place that can be covered up for professsional reasons or whatnot.
