For the first time in five years

......I called out at work......There is a foot of snow on the road and no sign of a plow and no sign of the snow stopping...

I feel kinda guilty....like what if the weather clears up and I could have gone in.

I have felt snow coming out of the sky once, quite near here, which is unusual. It was light and delicate and magical. We were driving to the distant hills where it had snowed overnight and as we got closer it started to snow very very lightly. STOP!! the car...I leapt out and felt it for the first ( and last) time.
I'll never forget that. I can't imagine needing a plow
Yes you did the right thing daisy, especially if you use the time wisely... e.g.watching a U2 video
