I have the original 3x3 coloured one. A 3x3 card suit one. An octagon shaped puzzle, a rubiks snake and a ball whereby you have fit 4 circles by sliding the panels which is called Meffert's Challenge

I have a Rubiks cube somewhere, but I've never solved it. I used to keep it by the computer when we still had dial-up internet so that I'd have something to do while waiting for pages to load.

I frickin' hate rubick's cubes!! Why? Because I can't frickin' solve them! Couldn't solve them when I was 8 (and they were hot); can't solve them now.

Imagine a giant rubick's cube in the future that has taken over the world, and now it's resting beside the ocean, on a sandy beach. I approach it on horseback, and, in desperation, dismount, fall to my knees and hang my head in my hands.

"Damn you, rubick's cubes....!! Damn you all to hell...!"

they're really easy to solve! i used a few different methods when i was a kid:

1: carefully peel off the stickers and stick them back on in the right places
2: take the rubicks cube apart, rearrange and put it back together again
3: memorise the method - it's not hard - then you can solve any rubicks cube in less than a minute and look REALLY clever
