2) Did Odyssey of the Mind for three years, got to state and never advanced to world competition, dammit.
3) I can almost recite Forrest Gump, and was actually able to recite The Lion King from memory when I was about 13

(3) My sense of smell is extraordinarily acute .. it's virtually impairing.

A famous person you have met: hmmm... I've seen some speak (Desmond Tutu, Ayaan Hirsi Ali, Paul Rusesabagina...), but don't usually try to meet them, so...Bono? When George W. was POTUS he did the commencement speech where I work but I didn't try to get tickets.

3 interesting things about you: I want to go to EMT school but I hate/am scared of driving and that holds me back; I've never owned a cell phone, PDA, or iPod despite being a nerd and working in IT; the dog I am currently showing and training is worth more than both of our vehicles combined (which is a combination of my dog being worth a lot and our vehicles not being that great!).

A famous person you have met: wow, the only famous people i can think of that i've met are has beens and never weres. i've met all the finns, and more musicians no one's heard of. umm...i met president jimmy carter. sort of. it was just at a book signing, so yeah. same for alton brown. but at least for him, i got to ask him a question as well so there was somewhat of an experience or whatever.

3 interesting things about you: hmmm...
1. i get embarrassed easily (we're talking i turn beet red), yet i willingly try to embarrass myself as much as possible when i'm in public. somehow that doesn't embarrass me, wtf.
2. this sounds so overly dramatic and it isn't meant to be, but i've had three near death experiences, sort of.
3. to me, there is nothing quite as fun as staying in a hotel room, even if it's in the same city in which you live.

Favorite Color: I like pretty much every colour to some extent, except yellow. The only thing I like about yellow is that it's one half of the Eagles' colours.

Favorite Food: A vegetarian Indian platter with dal makhani, palak paneer, peshawari aloo, cheese naan and a nice little helping of saffron rice. Nobody in this thread will beat that.

(I guess you guessed that because I live in Miami lol, but I think I am the only person in that city who is not cuban and cant speak a word of spanish even after taking it in school for 3 years :reject:)
