Yes, I did start Silent Hill once, and I got about 3 or 4 hours in. Then I just never picked it up again. Now it's downloaded on the PS3, which I hardly ever play, making it less likely I pick it up. BUT NOW, because of this moment, I will dedicate this month to beating it.

you should, it may look like Ass these days and the controls are shit but it's one of my top ten favourite video games.
