Anyway, I have a friend moving to Queens for grad school. That's actually the one burrough I have not been to. Does anyone have any moving advice? She's looking for an apt, and has had some sketchy experiences with craigslist and roommates.com, and the off-campus housing office is being less than helpful.

Anyway, are there good recommendations of resources to go to for apartment hunting? Are there any neighborhoods she should stay away from in terms of crime, etc.?
