Hey all! Good news!

... I have another math exam on Thursday.

I don't even know what the fuck we're studying right now.

So I am acing my English Comp class.

I am sooo proud of myself. : pats self on back: Considering I haven't done this well in anything since my junior year of high school, I'm entitled to a little bit of pride.

You have a lot of exams. D:

Are these serious grade-related ones or just sort of test ones?

^

... they're serious grade-related. i think the courses are set up as a yearlong class crammed into one semester. so 12 months worth of a class being taken in the span of 5 months? i dunno. all of the exams are pretty vital to my grades because our grades are determined ONLY by: attendance (sadly enough), exams, and participation. homework and all of that isn't mandatory.

it's a bummer though. i received my euthanasia paper, previously marijuana paper, and my professor said i did a good job. he gave us a revision day this morning and so i handed it in again.

as for my college algebra exam, i bullshit some excuse to my professor via email and said that my parents would be outta town so i gotta work... and now i can make up the exam on tuesday or anytime following.
it's fucking great, i feel soooo relieved.

how is everyone else doing here? hopefully everyone is doing wonderfully with school and the like.

^I had a mentalbreakdown yesterday night. There's a lot of shit going on recently. I already failed an exam this semester and when I heard that my uncle is diagnosed with cancer (again) and a cerebral tumor, I was like ok, think about that later, the exam comes first. But yesterday night my head started to hurt like hell and I had an awful noise in my ear. I felt like everything I do leads to nothing. -- I went to see a doctor this morning cause I have an exam tomorrow and I really can't show up there.
I hope you're doing better folks!

^I'm sorry to hear that. If the sound in your ear doesn't go away after three, four days, go see your doctor. I've developed a tinnitus myself in the summer of 2006 due to mental stress. It's not to be underestimated.

Hope your uncle's cancer turns out to be treatable.

Thanks VV!
I sometimes have that sound in my ear for a fews days in a row and then it goes away. But it always comes back when I'm in a stress situation. And then I can't sleep at night though I'm totally overtired. The doc. said I'm unable to work till tuesday, but I know it's coming back anyway. That scares me to death. What did you do then?
My uncle's cancer isn't treatable...now the lung cancer he had last year spread all over his body...but that's beside the point here.

I went to a specialist and got some cortisone pills which didn't help. Then I received six infusions of the same additional to the pills and he said it either goes away or there is nothing he could do that's known to help. It didn't go away so I didn't have a totally quiet moment for almost two years now.
Only good thing is that I only hear it when it's really quiet. Any light noise is enough so I won't be bothered. But it's still a pain.

At least you don't have it permanent.
I'm really sorry for your uncle. Cancer is such a fucking bitch.

Oh shit that sucks!!!
I got some pills so that I can calm down. But I'm not sure if that helps. I just hope that it does not happen again...I still have to take 4 exams.

^ hope things get better for you.

my current rough patch is physical geography. i keep getting all of the wind and effects confused. hurricanes, cyclones, storms, etc.. yeah. i'm still reading up on it but i recall some environmental science smarties here... so i'll leave it as that. haha, when i get more time to work on my stuff, i'll elaborate.
