Thanks Justin. I don't usually do architecture, I'd rather photograph nature. The camera performed well, there was nowhere NEAR the amount of light inside that building that those pictures imply. In fact it was thunderstorming outdoors.

Liesje, that church is gorgeous.

For Ms. Purrl

These would have been so much nicer had I brought my good camera. I hope to go back!

Here are some recent photos I took of a trip to Niagara Falls and on top of the CN Tower in Toronto. Usual to some perhaps, but perhaps not at this vantage point.

Did you live in NC or VA, Ms. Purrl? Or do you mean that you miss visiting?

I was born in Waynesboro, Virginia. Our parents moved to Indiana when I was three years old, but we got back at least once a year to our mom's family's (she lived in a rural valley near the junction of Skyline Drive and the beginning of the Blue Ridge Parkway at Rockfish Gap) reunion, or just because we want to. :D October trip this year, which will include the U2 show at Scott Stadium in Charlottesville. My former boss was a dean at Western Carolina University, in Sylva, for a few years; and MrPurrl and I visited there a few times.

Indiana is flat flat flat.

P.S. Beautiful photos, jet!

I took so many pictures in Venice last week and simply don't have time to look through all of them or edit them ... I've uploaded a few of them, some turned out really nice:
