Last one for the night, I promise. Niagara Falls, on the Canadian side.

Wow. Now that's somewhere I need to go. I've never seen white sand like that in Newfoundland! I mean, there are a few sandy beaches on the east coast, but nothing quite as spectacular. The sand is usually brown and littered with rocks. That first shot reminds me of home, a bit...

Thanks, we now have a new summer destination!

I've always wanted to go to Newfoundland. Alas it's cheaper for me to fly to Paris. This country is so strange.

I know, it's absolutely crazy. Air Canada and Westjet can burn in hell. I wonder how much it would cost to travel to NF from Ontario by car?

Go if you get a chance! You won't be disappointed. Looks like I'm returning there for this summer, so you're welcome to visit me

But my home country is gorgeous too. These are from last summer

and this is the same lake 3 weeks ago (these were taken with my mobile phone)

Iceland is beyond beautiful, it's just...breathtaking. GO THERE!

Thanks for the comment on my photos. And welcome to Finland too, it won't be as exciting for you as Iceland, but I think you'd like it anyway. I've been to Sweden several times and I it!

Went to Muir Woods a couple days ago in between the rain. Unfortunately I only got about 20 minutes in before it started raining hard again... but I got some decent shots

It's beautiful at Muir Woods and so quiet and peaceful. I always came away from a visit there with a clear mind and this feeling of peace and calm. I get the same feeling when I spend time at the beach. Good, fresh air and time spent in nature can do wonders for the soul
