angelordevil said:Incredible pictures, everyone. Sounds corny, but the world is such a beautiful place...sometimes a boatload of pictures is the perfect reminder of that.
This is cheating a bit, but as there's no "Post your aunt's scenic photos" thread yet, I couldn't resist sharing! She just emailed these to me...taken on The Caribou Trail, just outside of Burgeo, Newfoundland:

And here are a couple I took yesterday at Hakone Gardens - the first Japanese Garden in the bay area.
Carek1230 said:Where did you take those shots? Those are some strange looking roots and whatnot! Very good shots though. Keep the pics coming!

You should definitely go! Go in the spring (best from April to June usually) when the falls are in full force and you can hear and feel them rumbling throughout the valley from just about everywhere. They boggle the mind how big and gorgeous they are.
Diemen said:Went to Henry Coe State Park on Sunday to do some hiking and photography. Beautiful rolling green hills with plenty of oak trees. Really nice to see some natural, unspoiled California wilderness every once in a while.
