Im crap with make-up.....honestly! I should buy expensive foundation as cheap ones seem to have orange tints in them.

I want to look flawless pale with my gothic eyes!!!

so, seriously, if anyone answers - mineral make-up is good even over 30-something skin that is patchy? Uneven?

Loreal may be the only one to try.....but I bet you see it sit on your skin.............hmmmmmmm

Bare Minerals, ftw. I've tried the other mineral makeups (ok, only Loreal) and it was crap.

I need to get some of that Lash Blast this weekend. I have a good excuse, the sample size Sephora stuff I got over Christmas is almost running out.

A dermatologist once put it very simply to me: if you have GREAT skin, you can pretty much wear any makeup out there (or none at all). As the quality of your skin goes down, you need to invest in more expensive stuff to cover up blemishes, blend in patchy areas, give you a lasting look, etc.

I can definitely say Bare Minerals loose powder makeup is fantastic. I don't wear it but my daughter does. We got it on a recommendation from a skin specialist that said it is one of the few really pure makeups that won't hurt your skin. (Just the regular loose powder, not the mineral veil which does have some not so good ingrediants) Anyways, just a light amount of it alone with nothing else can make skin look really smooth and flawless.

Your dermatologist is right. The mineral vile does not have all natural ingredients like the loose powder does. I think it is really cool that your daughter is so make-up savvy at such a young age. When I was a teen I had not a clue. LOL

She's in a ballet company, (my older daughter used to be too) so they learned early because of performances. Now that my older daughter doesn't perform anymore she rarely uses makeup since she had to for so many years, sort of like opposite rebelling.
