Oh the smell is SO bad! We walked by the store, thinking whether or not to go in (I've never been in this store). It was totally dark so I couldn't see inside and they had some half nakid manikins at the door. The smell was coming out, already overpowering and we were outside the store on the other side of the mall. I went the other direction into some random store I've never been in and ended up finding jeans there. Turns out the pants I were buying before were too big in size and too short in length. Actual measurements, what a concept.

Sicy will be happy, I bought another pair on eBay. Dunno if they will fit but they were $10 on eBay (new) and $118 from the brand website.

I don't even care if they are fake as long as they fit!

I can't hear myself think in a Hollister store

And their tops are NOT made for someone who has something remotely resembling a chest.

True Religions are worth the money..I have a pair from almost 2 years ago that I have worn the crap out of. I can wear them 6 times before washing...they don't stretch out, don't shrink in the wash, and don't wear thin. I can't say the same about the 20 other 'bargain buys' that hang unworn in my closet because they either shrunk up or just don't wear well. Plus, True's are made in the USA. Rock and Republic are nice for fit but are not as solid, IMO.

I must admit, though, that I do dig their live beach webcam screens.

I could stand there and watch those for hours.

Me too because I start dreaming of being at the beach on a cold day

As soon as I can get ahold of a spare $100 I'm off to JWs to get myself 2 pairs of the ones I'm wearing right now. So perfect. I need more in different colours. I'll be set for the next few years, provided my weight doesn't shift drastically in either direction.

I found the best jeans this week-at Macys. Jeanstar brand. I've never tried them before but I saw a rack of 75 % off original price-they had white and dark wash. My friend let me put them on her Macy's charge and with that and a coupon they were 8 and 10 dollars a pair!

The style is called delle-they're bootcut and curvy fit through the hip and thigh-and not too low rise. They're great for warmer weather, lighter weight denim. The length is great for me-I'm 5'9 1/2"-for someone a couple of inches shorter than that they'd be good with a higher heel.

The most frustrating part was that I wanted two blue pair for that price-and the other two I tried on in my size were tighter and didn't fit like the pair I bought I'm not crazy about white jeans but they actually look ok and for that price I couldn't pass them up.

I've worn the blue ones and they didn't stretch out so far (one of my biggest pet peeves). I washed them so I'll see how they look the next time I wear them. But so far they are extremely comfy and they're slimming/flattering. Marshalls and TJ Maxx also carry Jeanstar but not for that price. Bargain jeans that look good are such a thrill

Macy's is having a great sale this weekend. I might go and get a new suitcase for my Dublin trip.

I was in Nordstrom buying some new bras, and wandered over to the area where they had the fancy-schmancy jeans. I ended up trying on a pair of Citizens of Humanity jeans.

I bought them, even though the price was outrageous. I was amazed that a pair of jeans would look so nice on me. They're being altered (they were a shorter length, but still too long), and I can't wait to pick them up.
